Enfield Windows premium partnership with Origin Windows and Doors
A Brand you can Trust……
Enfield Windows are proud to be classed as a Premium Partner with Origin Windows and Doors. This UK company manufactures its aluminium products to the highest standard, with precision engineering, an unrivalled eye for design and a market-leading 20 years warranty on all working parts. Here are some examples of the range of Origin products that Enfield Windows can supply and fit for our discerning customers.
Bifold doors
The new Soho Style range is the pinnacle of luxury and elegance with its sleek ultra slim lines replicated on the ever-popular Crittall style doors. These have a visible frame to frame sightline of only 84mm. What this means is that there is a far larger expanse of glass than many conventional frames and the closed doors reveal a very slim looking frame, one of the slimmest on the market. However, this sleek design does not compromise on strength or security.
The doors retain the Origin 20 years warranty, along with accredited “PAS 24 certification.” PAS, meaning “Publicly Available Specification,” is a UK security award from the British Standards Institution (BSI) which sets minimum security requirements for all windows and doors to deter break-ins.
Internal Doors
Steel-effect aluminium internal doors are becoming increasingly popular over timber or fibreboard. These add light to any room in a sleek and elegant style in both a domestic and commercial setting. The doors can come with a simple latched operating system or be supplied with locks to give enhanced security.
With glazing they can be a great addition to any hallway, offering light and security at the same time.
Windows
Origin offers two casement products: the Premium Window made for larger openers and the Slimline Window suited best for small apertures. Both are ultra durable and come with a varied range of hardware colours and finishes. the build quality and Origin guarantee make these windows a great consumer option.
Sliding Doors
The patio doors range is available with sightlines of 29mm, 44mm and 77mm, so the proportion of glass to frame is the client’s choice. The advantage of using aluminium door systems over timber or uPVC is the robustness of the material. Timber can be cumbersome and may warp and swell over time. There is also a limit on how slim the frame can be produced. With uPVC there is also the risk of swelling and contracting in certain weather conditions, causing alignment issues over the product’s life span.
Laminated glass is often used in larger patio doors – that’s two glass sheets with a plastic interlayer – which not only offer enhanced security against break-in but also improve thermal efficiency.
Colour choices
All Origin Windows & Doors are completely bespoke. If customers don’t want to choose one of the popular stock colours there’s a further option of over 150 RAL colours which can also be incorporated into the hinges and handles to ensure a perfect match.
