Stunning timber bifold doors, French doors and UPVC sash windows installation in Loughton, Essex

Since September last year, Enfield Windows has worked with the owner and builder to supply and install sash windows and doors at this Loughton, Essex property.

The property’s size and scale meant 49 UPVC sash-style windows, plus timber bi-folding doors and French doors, all installed in stages.

The client was creating a family home, so they wanted the best UPVC sash-style windows on the market, with zero maintenance, high performance and excellent security.

Roseview sash windows

Roseview are arguably the UK’s leading brand of UPVC sash-style windows, and as close to original timber sash windows as you can get. The client chose light cream externally and white internally, which blends with the bespoke stonework around the window openings.

Timber bifold and French doors

To keep the doors in the same style as the sash windows, timber was the only real choice. With 7-part and 5-part bi-folding doors, French doors, and French doors with sidelights, it had to be timber. UPVC wouldn’t offer the same luxury finish and bespoke detail, while aluminium would have been too modern for this property and the look the client wanted.

The timber range from Enfield Windows is bespoke, so any design detail can be adjusted, from glazing to panels. That’s why timber offers more design freedom than aluminium or UPVC. We supply CAD drawings before production, so you can amend details to suit the look you want.

Colours can be chosen from the full RAL colour chart or from the ever-popular Farrow & Ball range, so the choice is almost endless.

The build quality and finish of our timber range is flawless. Each frame is built using state-of-the-art CNC machinery and spray-finished in a purpose-built airtight spray booth, so it arrives ready to impress and worth every penny.

Installation

From first contact to final installation, the project ran over 18 months, with each phase installed as it became ready, working closely with the builder and the client.
