Beautiful UPVC Sash windows installation in North London

Here at Enfield Windows we see it as a badge of honour to supply and fit only the best quality replacement windows and doors, as in our latest task in North London.

We were approached by the house owners who were looking to replace their old uPVC casement windows for more period-looking sash windows in keeping with the style of the house.

In this job we were replacing eight windows, including two in the front bedroom and a bay window in the lounge. With this many to do it was important to get the right product and after looking at all the options, our clients opted for Ultimate Rose Mk3 in crystal white finish.

Secure and efficient

This is one of our premier ranges, offering top quality thermal efficiency and high security. It also boasts an abundance of traditional features which sound technical to a layman but greatly enhance the product, such as run-through sash horns, an ultra slim meeting rail and deep bottom rail with fully mechanical joints. All this makes Ultimate Rose Mk3 arguably the best replica alternative to timber on the market.  Cheaper alternatives are simply not of the same quality as the Ultimate, which is why it is the premier sash window.

Even though it is a popular choice, the lead time from point of survey is still only about a month. During this time the order is processed, signed off and put into production, with an indicated delivery time. Next, we liaise with our clients for an agreed installation date when our own highly experienced team will fit the new windows. In this case we removed the old windows and installed the eight replacements in just three days.

Finishing touch

With the new ones in place the finishing touch was to complete the internal work around the frames where the original architrave, or decorative trim, would have sat. Many companies use standard uPVC trims, but we believe this doesn’t do justice to high quality windows such as these. Enfield Windows prefer to instal factory-sprayed MDF (medium density fibreboard) with a hardwood window board that eliminates any potential warping and, equally important, looks terrific.
